Adult B'nei Mitzvah Class - Beginning November 28 at 7:00 pm

Dear Temple Avodat Shalom Members,

Cantor Dubinsky and Rabbi Jacobson are proud to announce a new learning opportunity for adults.  The course will run on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm (beginning November 28) and will focus on:

• Hebrew reading and chanting - familiarity and fluency

• The meaning of Hebrew words

• Reaching a deeper understanding of the prayer book

• Torah chanting 

Ultimately, participants in the class will celebrate an Adult B’nei Mitzvah service in the spring of 2020.  Of course, the class is open to those community members who do not wish to celebrate B’nei Mitzvah, but simply want the opportunity to learn.
